If not for NHRA requiring that crotch strap, there would be other choices available for activating the two-step on the brake pedal. That would allow quicker starts as there are more nerve endings as opposed to the simple fingertip. If you have short commings, there are many enhancements offerd for sale. Even Hot Rod Magazine has those advertisements now so don't say you didn't know about that. The biggest problem is if you go all day in competition, you might need a fast acting Viagra. I guess that could present a problem as cost could be very high and if every racer were on Viagra, the pits may be a place for the fans to avoid. Maybe the next world champion will be an older racer that is more used to the effects of Viagra or one that is able to alter the prescription? Maybe a Pharmicist racer? I know SS/MA racer Garrett Ghezzi is a Pharmicist and older. Better call him today and have him start petitioning NHRA for a few rule changes...
