Avoid buffets at all costs! There days of being a value are long gone...unless you weigh 300+ pounds and feel you have to get your money's worth at every sitting. I always find the best meal at the best price the advertised specials available everywhere. That would be things like $9.99 prime rib or ribeye dinner. That's a better meal at almost half the cost of a buffet and they serve you.
And if your racing, there's a place called Memphis BBQ located around the entrance to Nellis AFB. That's reasonably close to LVMS but too far off the strip. Personally I like to gamble at downtown (the original part of the strip). Your $$ will last a lot longer at the tables. Make sure you pick up the free publications found on every street corner for the really
hot deals in town!
