Close but not exactly. NHRA sets a Min Payout for the company. You can't pay more than other companies either. $300 / 100 for Nationals, etc. At the end of the year the Company needs to have the min amount claimed by the racers for their product(s). If that min amount was not claimed, the company is to write a check to NHRA for the difference. I am not positive, but I believe that money was to be applied to a "points" fund. Which one I do not know. The min's vary for Major / Minor Contingency sponsors. ATI was a Major for 2 products. I won't disclose our Min amounts.
