So the engine I would like to build for Pure stock has a valve spring pressure of 120 closed 300 open.

.475 lift and a rpm range 5500 to 6500

So is the cam profile designed around the valve spring because it is the limiting factor?
Are these questions for the cam company and engine builder/parts supplier?
