I would never even fire that engine up with those spring pressures. Tim and I just talked, he and Billy Godbold are still saying 250 seat and 525 open. You will have serious seat bounce below 225, oddly enough, the exhaust seems worse. Every time I increased pressure from 200 on the seat, I gained torque, HP, and useable RPM. I gained 20 ft/lb going from 230 on the seat to 250.
I'd suggest 115.0 to 115.5 on the volume, that thing needs compression. I use Cometic gaskets, never had a head gasket problem.
I was with Kevin at the last Norwalk national event he ran.
Yes Jimmy is still running the white Corvette. Probably going to head south with it this week or next.
