Default Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........

It's the stand the NHRA has to take. The reason that the NHRA was formed. It's a shame but the NHRA TV coverage is terrible, so is the product. Id watch a whole season of this before I watch any pro coverage. I'm sure I'm not alone in this opinion, maybe not on this site but with car people my age. It seems everybody on Facebook that comments about this is pro SO, and anti NHRA. The Suits that run the NHRA should use this as a wake up call. Shake things up and come up with some programs, or ideas that can breed some exposure into the homes of the people watching these shows.

The SO show is pretty good to watch. There are different styles of cars, drivers with personalities, a bit of drama with passion. The cars are cool, and have technology in them. The drivers are guys the common folk can sort of relate to. Unlike any pro racer today. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for both parties. If I'm the NHRA Id figure out a way to hold my ground, and make a deal with these guys. Pay them to make some appearances at some races, with TV coverage. If 2.2 million more started watching, it would be a good thing.
