I use aeroquip teflon lined braided line, it is made for brake,power steering, nitrous and trans lines,I use #6 it is smaller od than rubber lined braided line,I did one with jiffy tites got their connectors that had flare on them and put hose ends on line and screw onto the jiffy tite connector, takes a few more fittings that way but if something was to happen to quick connector you could stick a union back in place to get going,
