I can see both sides. If it discourages dumb-azzes from actually street racing, I'm with NHRA. Did I street race when I was a kid? Sure did. Had a 14 second '56 Chevy (wasn't an old car then ) not an 8 second car. I have seen enough of them get loose and tear stuff up, I have to wonder why they don't just go to the NHRA track at Noble for test & tune nights. Wouldn't seem all "outlaw" to them, I guess. Jeanie and I do enjoy watching them, and they really do have fast cars.
