I have silently watched this family live what I thought could have happened to my dad, brother, and I for years. 20/20 hindsight: if we just agreed on a common goal, ignored "practical" opinions, and didn't give up. Dave and Greg Smith started racing about the time my dad with, if I'm correct, a SS/IA Cuda that was another racer's "parts car". And through Darren and Staci's generation, they have, through dedication and perseverance, proved it can be done!!! Congrats to Darren and the whole Smith clan on a well deserved championship.
