His son Skip told me yesterday, it's a very personal loss for me.

Jim was an innovator, a truly great friend, and a great business associate. I started selling his products over 30 years ago when I worked at Hobbs Transmission in Nashville. After I left there, Jim set me up as a dealer, and despite being a small business, Jim stuck with me this entire time, treating me like I was a big volume dealer. I got outstanding service, prices, and support, he always helped me and my customers, his check was always the first to arrive when one of us won, no matter how small the win. There are few like him in business, but his sons are just like him.

God's speed, my friend, you will be missed, your family is like family to me, they will be in my thoughts and prayers.
