As far as crate engines go in stock cars if you have the money & know the right people you can buy the special head bolts & intake bolts that cant be duplicated . So why would that work in NHRA any better ? If you have claimer engines the guy with the money just keeps buying the fast guys stuff until he gets tired of building new engines.
