Total State & Federal fuel taxes on diesel in Pennsylvania is 89.7 cents per gallon, vs 41.9 cents per gallon in New Jersey.
Pennsylvania has also seen increases in tolls, registrations, licenses, inspections. PA fuel taxes are slated to rise again in 2017. Maybe if they hadn't spent millions of dollars on giant billboard-sized electronic signs every few mile along I-80. Despite all the revenue, they've been trying to make I-80 a toll road for ages, but the federal government keeps denying them.
