Re: Indy
One very wise move by NHRA was to allow 200 in each of the most populated classes which I think everyone knows now. Anyone who wants to go should be there. Nice move by NHRA. Next week Grade 2, sixty or so in Stk now and nearly 50 in SS. Now they just have to get the pro classes to show up like we do. I am sure the pro stock people will have something to say. In our domain, I wonder how many cars will be in stick that were automatics last year. I wonder what it will take to get in the 128? I know we built a new motor for SS and it has all the best, and I think it will get in, but not really sure. It looked good at No Problem; very hot and very high barometer so time will tell. We should know at the test session in Bowling Green. I have a new Voo Doo thing working on hp. Nasty looking thing. I also ordered a small stuffed alligator, but I don't know if it will be in for Indy. It will look nice on the hood of a Challenger. For you Mopar folks, Mopar will have some engineers at their thing on Thursday on motors, chassis, and general stuff. Might be of interest. That gathering might move to my tent after as they can't serve the proper beverages. I'm sure there will be much more as Indy gets closer.
