Sure, a little oddball combination will get to the top of the sheet from time to time. Larry's point is still valid. The one bright spot for the older cars is that the new cars may be working their way back down. Last year there were 69 of them at Indy. They may manage to surpass that number this year. But it won't be by a bunch. Glen Gray worked on trying to level the playing field for Indy but it appears he ran into some strong corporate resistance. nhra is an outfit that knows no shame so don't expect anything approaching equity out of them.
