Re: Live from Englishtown, NJ - NHRA Lucas Oil Series
Good morning members and guests - This AM is a mixed bag - overcast and chilly @ 64 degrees but with the better weather we'll surely see some fast numbers this morning. The flip side says there is a possibility of showers later. I'm sure that Director Mohn sees this and will get us rolling and done before the bad stuff hits. Speaking of fast -I've been coming here since the early seventies and yesterday morning they caught me off guard as they have never, ever that I can remember let any class start their engines before 10 am and a feather could have knocked me over when it came over the PA that SuperStreet could warm them up at around 9 .Times are a changin' .............
So during the night there were loud noises outside my window that turned out to be the wind flapping my awnings so I got up - got dressed and put them in. So whats the big deal you say ? Parked in front of my coach is a golf cart in the street next to the lake. Hmmmm - what would you think ? Skinny dipping ? Suicide ? Dead battery ? Out of gas ? It was still there when I got up but then gone like the wind ........Questions but no answers .
Only answers I have are that in a few hours we'll crown some Lucas Oil Champions here at Raceway Park - stay tuned ! ! !
