Our last trip to St. Thomas this year was a reminder of the challenges we face racing in this part of the world. Saturdays scheduled was a wash, Literally. Rain throughout the day mad it impossible to get any racing done, even with the persistent and hard fraught efforts of the St. Thomas staff. Sunday brought cool and clear weather and a group of racers eager to get on the track. At the end of the day , it was Bob Park taking the win over Brian Clayton. Congratulations to Bob and Brian! With 1 race left on the schedule, it will be the remainder of our members fighting it out to try and improve their final finishing position. While Chuck Nagy sits atop the standings and considers his speech for the banquet.
As always, there is not a thank you large enough to properly acknowledge the time and effort put in by the many VOLUNTEERS, so that we can continue to play with cars.
Looking forward to a big turn out for the end of the year in just a few short weeks.
