I just reread NHRA ruling.......... 3 inches in length from base of button to top of plunger..... is that three inches to the very end of the punger???? or to the back side of the thumb rest..... the thumb rest on the 5-0 is about a 1/4 - 3/8 of an inch thick.

does this also mean that the "5-0" button's plunger can be cut down (like a sawed-off shotgun) to meet the minimum length requirements???

would like clarification... time to start experimenting
