Re: rear gear change for the Super 10
The update is that I decided to install a Richmond 5.86 pro gear out of the box. After some runs I will remove the rear cover and have a look. [that will be next spring]
In addition, I decided to use two quarts of Lucas 85/140 conventional gear oil.
My reason for changing from 6.0 gear to 5.86 gear is to lower the finish line RPM about 200 RPM. Testing will verify my hunch, I expect the starting line leave will be the same and the engine will appreciate not being out of RPM range at the finish line.
