Re: Getting Out of Racing Sale
I've been asked several questions that need to be answered, I'm sure that many others have the same questions, soooo here goes.
I'm getting out of racing do to the constant hassles and getting the "skewered end of the stick" for the last year at my local track. This track used to be very racer friendly, but not anymore. I'm really tired of dragging my stuff out and knowing it isn't fun anymore, knowing I'm going to have to fight against the track more than race the competitors. We also have some health issues that need to be paid for and selling one of the cars will get me on the upside of the checkbook.
The car is 100% LEGAL, it is sooooo legal that whoever tears it apart at tech, they will laugh. Guess that blows the whole "You gotta cheat to get 1.00 under the index theory". LOL
I've been building this car for 2.5 years and spent the money where it needed to be, I also only used the money that the budget would allow, that's why it took 2.5 years lol. The car still has stock shocks, no sub-frame connectors, and no cal-tracs or traction bars, there is room for improvement there alone. Remember, it went .810 under at Marks race last month. I had some MT bias slicks on the car, changed to another brand and went about .12 slower, radials are needed!!
I've been wanting to race stock for soooo many years, and was very close to completing my dream, but I'm just a bit burned out and just don't want to do it anymore. I really don't want to sell the cars, but FAMILY and a roof over our heads comes first, the toys will have to go. Any other questions, please call.
Thanks,
Rick
