If this is for a race car, then the aftermarket fenders are lighter, but take work to line up, etc.

List what parts you need, I went through the same thing with my 70 after a "incident" and needed to replace a lot, its the really dinky parts that drive you wild like....headlight buckets...etc.

Will give you some suggestions.
