Let me ask, how many members were really asked or even got a message about this subject before the decision came from NHRA? I think that before they put out a decision like this, it should be asked to the racers who participated at the event they are referring to. I'm a member of NHRA for a long time and participated, never an email or any other form of communications. I'm a racer that will never qualify at that race, but enjoy going.
But now, they should rescind all HP factoring so that all cars have a chance of getting into the field and not just the cars that never got factored properly. Put the advertised HP back on the cars the way they came out of the factory. I still wouldn't get in, but it sure would be fair to the guys who have paid their dues.

You need to get ahold of your SRAC Rep and express these thoughts ... do you know who your rep is ? . That's what they are for ..
