Jason et al,

Take a look at what IHRA did this year re: changes to the TD and TS rules... Conducted a survey of current participants, gathered all their feedback, came out with a set of rational rule changes that even have "outs" for those that get penalized (e.g., going to a 32-car field, but if you don't qualify, and there are open spaces, you can automatically move over to the ET category at a national event). Rule changes were promptly posted on their website, printed in DRM, and yesterday I received a hard-copy letter in the mail from IHRA as a licensed TD racer that explained the rule changes one more time...

A little different from the NHRA process. Spoke to Bob Lang yesterday; he wasn't even aware of the firesuit/gloves/boots changes, nor the contradictions between the same in the General Regulations and Advanced ET sections...
