I know stock and s/stock were the only classes to have over the 32 car minimum to guarantee the purse. Why people didn't show up in other classes is beyond me but, i heard that they thought the $1,000 bonus that pc richards was putting up was in the form of a gift certificate towards pc richards so they didn't show.......well, that was incorrect, it was an additional grand onto the purse as i saw the winner in s/comp's winner check for $2,500. I also heard some people were not coming because there was no contingency involved with this race.....not sure what else they could do for you guys to get you to come and support an event for $140 bucks, i know the weather scared some people away also but, dave and his crew did a great job with battling the rain, pollen and wind. Dave made it a point to come around to every s/gas driver before the 2nd qualifying run and let them know that they would be giving them a 3rd run on saturday because they were in the lanes on friday when the rains came. It was a great event to be at and i hope gary will jump back on board for 2017 and do it again. Thanks gary!!!!!
