For a wrap up of the Jegs Sportsnationals--we had lots of fun! Driving there in the rain was not so fun, nor sitting at the campground in the rain was fun. We were lucky that we were able to get there early and got parked early in the day. Hopefully some lessons were learned, so that if the race is held at Bowling Green next year (and I hope it is), that they will not try to park everyone in one day. I know coming to Belle Rose from Gainesville, we were allowed to pull in and park whenever we arrived. That made it a lot less congested later in the week. Missing the time trial on Friday was unfortunate, but unavoidable. (But if parking had started a day earlier, that run might have happened.)


The track hooked for us every run. I don't know if that was the case for everyone, but we were good!


Breaking the leaf spring and having to go home to repair it and losing a night's sleep wasn't so much fun! But having it work well and going on to win A/SA WAS a lot of fun! Love that copper Wally!!


Having our friends come to visit and enjoying our win was fun! Also, having our son, Chris there was fun, too.


Red-lighting 2nd round wasn't great, but watching Stock and Super Stock eliminations all day was fun!


Seeing old friends and getting caught up on all the news was fun, too!


And now we are back on the road, headed to Galot where we expect to see more friends and have more fun!! Life is too short not to enjoy!!
