Default Re: Top 10 "can't find" drag strips

Carolina Dragway mainly because I couldn't find it in clear, broad daylight. It's off a main highway but I circled three or four times before I saw the sign. At that time, it was the same size and height as a realtor's for sale sign. It was on a regular county road, but was next to a gas station and looked like a service road. It's a great track, though and I wouldn't have any trouble finding it once I'd been there.

Also Englishtown and Maple Grove. Somehow I have a lot of trouble with roads in the eastern US. Having two lane roads marked like 115, 117, 152, 151, and 511 all intersecting within a few miles made me think I was a bit dislexic.

Maple Grove was less of a problem the more I went there. But it's the only track that I heard more than one Pro transporter driver say they had never taken the same way in or out - without trying to do so.

I am not blessed with a sense of direction so GPS systems changed my life.
