I was waiting on my round $ for the Indy LODRS continuation at Norwalk - checked with the D3 office who politely informed me that the Indy Track office needed my W-9. I went to the web and downloaded a W-9 - emailed it and received a quick response. The system works.
One more story - the track accountant at Joliet tracked me down last year to get me round $$ - in my opinion he went over the top to make sure the racer got paid.
Without a W-9, it's almost impossible to get paid. I keep a pdf file of my W-9 handy now - as well as a paper copy with my Racing Info when I travel.
