Dave,

WIR, Dakota Flat Track, Thunder Valley, and US 41 are all still IHRA tracks. And never say never. Many tracks switch back and forth between the sanctioning bodies over the years. And Byron is not what I would call a Div. 3 track. You hardly supported races even when gas was cheap. Alex and Tony did a phenomenal job helping to promote those races. I do feel that disbanding the Div. for one year took a major toll on it.

You'd never have a "northern Div. 9", in the midwest because you don't have that many tracks close together, and you don't have the population density. Besides, we've only got 5 races, all of which are singles.
