Default Congrats to Marty Buth on making the first 11 sec.pass at...

...an NHRA National event in a P/SA Stocker that only has 4 spark plugs

Marty can add this year's Indy experience to his list of "firsts"

He made his quickest ( so far) NHRA event pass in P/SA with an 11.950 e.t. on Friday to win class eliminations on his 13.45 index.

A little history about his car:

2 years ago, his 2.3L Mustang was the first 4 cyl. Stocker racer to ever run in the 11's at an NHRA event ( May 2014--National Open-B.G. KY)

He was also the first 4 cyl. racer to make a pass in the 11.50's ( in P/SA trim @ the 2015 Northern Class Nationals )

Then 6 weeks later, he set the N/SA national record with an 11.39 @ the Indy Fall Classic National Open ( I wished I had got video of the run, but I was in the water box behind him when I saw the 11.39 on the time board)

Well done Marty !
