The '67 six cylinder sub frames were sought after at one time as they were supposedly 20lbs light than the V-8 frame, I never weighed them to verify. They are easily identified due to not having the large holes on the inside near the bumper brackets.

I have 2 67's and one has the large holes in the subframe and one does not. The early car does not have them and they are both original V8 cars. I was told this was done midway in the 67 production for bumper bracket access.
