I had asked about Hemi head castings, since a trip to my local dealer that week netted me another "NS1" response (national backorder, for those who don't know the Mopar system).
He then started talking about AH heads, and I told him that didn't apply to me, since I was building a Street Hemi combo. He told me that if I wanted anyone to pay attention to me, I had to build an AH or Drag Pak car. Anything else, he said, was a waste of time. (In that exact verbiage!)

Yes I remember you Steve. I had many a talk with Dale also. I also have talked with the engineers on occasion. I cant say I had that warm and fuzzy feeling reading between the lines of their stories.....
Bottom line is I have an updated older historic AH car down in Martinsburg, Va waiting for paint and the last 3 months trying to purchase an existing top of the line AH car. I can tell you the deal of the new car did not materialize because I really dont need the headache of going down that road. Dale has swore to me they are going to cast the head we use again. I'm not going to bet on it....
Ma Mopar doesnt care about the older cars. How much they care for the newer cars and the sportsman racer is what I have a problem with. I do have all the data needed to figure the coefficient of drag and downforce generated of mounting a top fuel wing to my Super Stock car though!!
