This manifold thing boils down to those with the $$$$ and smug attitude that they can slip anything past the neutered down tech dept.
And so far for a long time they've been right. Now and then they get called on it (the AMC stuff just for one example) and back down
only to go back to their same old ways. Kind of like organized crime. Actually NHRA could teach organized crime some new tricks.
