Completely agree with Ed and others....buy a turn key car. I pulled my 68 Dart out of a salvage yard, no rust but dinged up. Thought it was a good car, and still do because of 4 different engine combinations....I thought I could save money building it and enjoyed doing it. But, thousands on top of thousands of dollars later, It was a terrible financial decision. Whatever "ready to race car" you could buy would easily cost at least cost double to build assuming it is a quality piece. Just my 2 cents
