Re: Live from Bowling Green
A lot of racers were working on their stuff. Jerry and Mike Bennett changed converters, the Welker camp worked way passed sundown, Mr Bill Rink doing normal maintenance, a D7 car was on four jack stands at sundown.
The racer appreciation meal was very good! Menu: pulled pork sandwich that was really loaded up, BBQ beans, mustard potato salad, two different types of sauce, pickles, and shredded coleslaw. After a hard day of test and tune, a meal this good is a welcome sight for the hungry masses. Thanks Lucas Oil and Quick Fuel.
Track prep for T&T was good, the starting line crew really tried to stay on top of it. Tech and T&T had a little confusion but not enough to mention.
A lot of good runs by a lot of class on the way to Indy. A second under the Index at BG is always a little on the sporty side.
All in all just a real good day of racing.
