Also...

At least 15-20 photographers on the starting line during the first round of Stock qualifying (at 8:30). Got to think the Factory Stock cars have something to do with it.

Personal opinion. This is a great time for Stock and Super Stock racing. The mix of old iron and new technology is awesome. I don't want this to turn into a debate over indexes/factors/rules, but from the point of view of a spectator who loves high performance automobiles, it doesn't get any better than this.
