I have also seen the aftermath of several Torqueflights and Turbo 400s that blew apart, easily as bad as a clutch explosion on a stick car, but normally further back, and closer to the driver, and often in an area where the tunnel has been modified.

I was videotaping the car when that happened, of course my camera died later and I have never seen the tape except for playing it back on the little screen that day. I have no way to play Hi8 tapes or i'd make a You Tube video to scare you all into swapping to a stick!
It was just as the car came out of the burnout box and sent parts everywhere. Quite a bunch of damage to the car and maybe just luck the parts went straight up and straight down rather than out the sides , Dan can still walk.
