Re: Trans shield
I just received and trial fit a Tom Waters shield on my metric 200 in a 98 Firebird. Tight fit at rear to floorpan....but got it on. Looks like I will need to tweak my Hurst Quarter stick cable bracket a bit to work as it interferes slightly with the shield bracket that bolts to the trans. Finally, The brace that I have on the passenger side of the trans needs to be re-designed as it does not fit with the shield. I am having a new one built. A little work, but we will be compliant to the rules!!
