Re: “Live” from Z Max 2018
Stock to the lanes. Stock to the lanes. And get a hose job. Me and and the rest of the first five got cheated and robbed. How did NHRA know that the track was ready to qualify on. What ever the yardstick used was incorrect. If our cars have to be safe so does the track, we have a rule book we as racers have to live by. What is the minnium qualifications of a safe track. Is it the starter wetting his finger and holding it up aka Kentucky windage. Or is it the refined scuffing of a shoe against a sprayed and drug track. NHRA how do you know when the track is ready for competition. Is it when a G/SA goes sideways on the 1 ,2 shift, or when a glide car looses .05 in 60’. Is it when the tree almost gets taken out by one of the second set of cars. NHRA if you don’t want a bunch of Dan Fletcher imitations getting to staging fix the track before the first car goes down, not after the fifth car goes sideways on a gear change. NHRA have standards for track preparation, and live by them
