No, it wasn't a S/SS race, but most class racers in the northeast know Bill Groton and family. Bill Groton III won the $10,000 Door Car Shootout at the K&N Spring Fling in a column-shifted 4-door Pontiac. When they pulled into the winner's circle, about 5 people got out of the car. It was awesome!
