Re: Why Does Al Cordas COPO Run B/SA instead of FS Class
I'm thinking of doing it the old fashion way but in the 21 century. I purchased a 2009 Dodge challenger 5.7 with 81,000 miles, cold air and a nice sound system in the car. Car would have to weigh 3920 lbs. in J/SA. It's 300 lbs heavy in street trim. The engine seems easy to work on. The rear end looks like a bad hair day. The NHRA safety requirements kill any thought of just having fun with a street car. So do I take a perfect car and gut it? Decisions decisions!.
Welcome to the 21 century for sure. Not like buying a 1970 Hemi Challenger in 1970-72. Race it and either drive it or toe-bar it home.
Been waiting all year for my 440 engine for my 69 GTS Dart. The above is what happens when I sit around waiting.
