Default Re: “Live” from US Nationals 2018

7:30 a.m. Walking the dog at home (2 miles from the track) and I can hear the rumble of Stockers filling the lanes.

7:57 a.m. First pair on the starting line (got to love on-time starts)

Weather is quite a bit better than yesterday although there is still a bit of a head-wind.

A few early runs:
Todd Hoven goes 9.82 that should be enough to get the big Hemi into the show (88-under)

England's Nic Williams spun the tires and slowed to a 10.07. Last I checked he was outside the quick 128.

Gary Summers 13.00 in U/S that's -.164.

Early contender for wheelstand of the day? Francois Periard's big B/SA Road Runner or maybe even Ken Miele's Cobra Jet.

Also, probably 100 or so folks in the stands enjoying the cool morning air. They're getting a great show so far. If you don't enjoy days like this, you're in the wrong sport.

More later...
