MCR will be hosting a one day S/SS combo race at the new track in Onawa, Iowa on October 13th. $1,000 to win, $500 runner-up, $250 semis.
I raced at Onawa once this summer, and it is hands-down the smoothest track I've driven on. It is, for now, eighth mile racing. That being said, it's formerly a runway so there is plenty of concrete for quarter mile racing, and the plan is to do that as soon as funds allow.
Tentatively, gates will open at 10am with Q1 around 11:00. I will update this thread with more info as we get closer. For track info, check out http://www.onawaracing.com
