Brake fluid has changed over the years...modern HP vehicles use synthetic brake fluid.

Dot 5.1 is glycol based synthetic brake fluid with 500 degree boiling boiling point and "normal" brake fluid viscosity. Available anywhere...........absorbs moisture as well...and still need to be changed but good stuff.
