I had to do a few things to get my stream working good, but didn't have a problem once a few adjustments are made. I would have loved to have been onsite, as I love Indy and esp SS class.
When you talk about your problems, you might want to mention what you are using, as its not child's play.
First I use a high speed cable modem, DSL probably won't cut it.
Second I use the Google chrome web browser.
I stream to a small windows 7 Acer computer that I hook to a large HDTV, via a HDMI cable, with audio feeding into my home theater audio system.
I use the 720P video setting, lower right screen > click and choose between auto - 1080 - 720 - and lower settings. 1080HD is too much data, and caused constant buffering with the spinning donut. It completely goes away at 720P setting.
I find the little chat for help box is too close to this setting, and hard to hit, without popping the chat pop up box for help.
Whenever I saw the tech diffuculty screen, I either clicked forward or back in the lower time bar, clicked the live video button, and then backed up, or did a reload the page, and sometimes I had to login again. I noticed the tech difficulty screen may have been there when there was no action happening, SC was running at one point, basically they weren't streaming anything. Just go forward, reload or wait?
If I were to improve anything, I would study the downtrack audio levels, they are set louder than the starting line mic, and distort pretty heavy when the high powered cars are passing the 800-1000 foot mark. When promod was running, it was very distorted downtrack. I would set the mic level back 40 percent?
Overall it was pretty dang good, and I have high standards.
I just watched the evening PS show, and am now back watching friday morning class racing.
thanks Warren and crew! its worth the cost!
