The "planned schedule of eliminations for the Sportsman cars" was also ruined by this brilliant incident that caused a 42-minute cleanup:

Both cars do their burn outs and pull back to the starting line, where NHRA shuts them off for "stuff on the track"!
Justin Schriefer was charged with an oildown, #2 for the season. That will cost 10 points.
