I doubt they will change the indexes but sure there will be plenty of excitement next week when they release the HP adjustments...especially if they hit 350 Novas
But from looking at the NHRA registration website (looking at quotas specifically) they obviously mean to thin the herd some more at National events. One reason for not changing indexes is dealing out the low dollar/ starter cars. They really don’t want to run off too many and kill the cash cow (Divisionals). Also applies to stockers crossing over to Super Stock occasionally, would really hurt them.
