Jim Clark ran an 8.581, at this race. I saw his engine listed as a 439 Pontiac on one pre-entry list.

So, if SS/AM cars are allowed in this deal, then they'll run quicker than reg SS class Pontiacs. I assume they can run any carb, or maybe 2. I think this class took the place of the old Modified Production class. But a lot of you guys know more about it than me.
