The 15 year rule didn't last long though. NHRA just went to nothing older than 1960 in Stock.
When I showed up in the late 70”s it was 1960 and newer. When I had a 61 wagon quite a few people told me NHRA would rulebook it out of existence within a few years. I see there is still a 60 wagon racing around the country......Wonder why NHRA got off that kick ?? Wonder why NHRA allowed the 55-57 to compete in superstock ? ? ....Maybe Tony Janes has the answer. ??
