For what it's worth......I've had a "few" (L-O-L) first gen Camaros over the years and it's been my experience you have to trim the leading and the trailing edges of the fenders to make it all fit nicely with a 28 to 30-inch tall tire. This way, you can lower the ride height by quite a bit with no issues of tire rub (provided the wheel backspace is correct). In my old cars, I'd get the body shop to cut out a "V" shaped section at the front and the rear and then weld it back together. That will likely be painful in your case because the car looks like it's nicely painted
