Re: L.A. mayor considers banning outdoor sports.....
I live in a small town on Lake Mead = a major recreation area.
We rely on users of the National Park for a good portion of our town's
economy. The Park is closed for the last month and many of our
business that have struggled to make the tourist season to
survive are going out of business. The is a shopping center that
I often go to lunch......Over 1/2 the shops are already closed and
EMPTY. The state closed our trailer business for a month and made
us lock out gates. We will survive because we own our property free and
clear. Most others may not get thru this period!
I do not mind wearing a mask and requiring customer to do so AND staying
6 feet apart. We could do sales remotely and deliver the trailers to customers
curb. I am not minimizing the Virus BUT poverty and tough financial times
will KILL a lot more people than it ever will in my opinion.
I would happily take my chances with the Virus = rather than see my Grandchildren
(perhaps for a long time) go without what they need to thrive.
The repercussions of this Recession (Possible Depreciation) will last for a very long time
and be more substantial than you may realize.
