I raced in SS/IA at the Sports Nationals. That was in the early 1980's. Today I have a 1934 Chevy 3 window steel bodied street rod now with all the good stuff. A/C, Power Windows, Leather interior, coil over suspension, Rack and pinion steering, and a ZZ4 crate engine, 700-R4 trams and a 9 inch Ford rear. Its less work and less $$$$ to go to the car shows so do I miss drag racing???? Yes but not all the BS and expense that you have to deal with today.
